She first visited along with her dad Harry Lucas, who was the homeowners’ accountant. And because the finish of the Second World Battle, Anne has spent £20,000 staying at three-star Colwall Park in Malvern, Worcs, typically at Christmas and Easter. Employees there estimate she has clocked up 150 nights. Its present homeowners plan to mark her loyalty with a plaque, plus a tree in reminiscence of her husband John, who died final June.
Anne, who lives 62 miles away in Lichfield, Staffs, nonetheless visits – with daughter Emma, 53, and her pup Bronte. The gran of seven mentioned: “We love going again there. It’s my residence away from residence.
“I affiliate it with once I was little, which brings again so many good recollections. The household who ran the lodge had a son the identical age as me, so I at all times had a buddy. The workers are wonderful and at all times so useful too.”
Anne, 82, has already rebooked for this Easter. Matt Homans, the lodge normal supervisor, mentioned workers at all times sit up for welcoming her again.
