The US tech big – which owns YouTube – stated it’s dedicated to upholding “all relevant sanctions and commerce compliance legal guidelines”. The transfer drew an offended response from the Duma’s chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, who accused america of making an attempt to attain a “monopoly of knowledge”.
“It’s one other proof of Washington’s violation of rights and freedoms,” he advised Russian information company Tass.
