The INDONESIAN – The Regional Conference (Musda) of KNPI Jaya Indonesia Raya in Central Lombok marked a key milestone for a new era of youth leadership in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Daud Azhari, SH – popularly known as Daud Gerung – was elected by acclamation as Chairman of the NTB KNPI First Regional Board (DPD I), signaling the arrival of young leadership expected to bring renewal, unity, and innovation.
Raja Agung Nusantara, Executive Chairman of the KNPI Central Board (DPP KNPI) Raja Agung Nusantara, extended congratulations to Daud Azhari.
“On behalf of the extended family of KNPI Raja Agung Nusantara, we congratulate Mr. Daud Azhari. May this mandate be carried out with full responsibility and take NTB KNPI to greater progress and competitiveness,” he said.
He also expressed appreciation to Taupik Hidayat for his dedication and service during his tenure as previous Chairman of NTB KNPI DPD I.
On the same occasion, the KNPI Central Board, together with the NTB KNPI DPD I and DPD II leadership, conveyed their highest appreciation to Central Lombok Regent H. Lalu Pathul Bahri, S.IP., M.AP.
“The performance and development programs implemented by the Central Lombok Regent have become an inspiration for young people. He is an example of a trustworthy leader who consistently prioritizes the interests of the community,” a KNPI Central Board representative stated.
For context, H. Lalu Pathul Bahri previously received the TOP 100 Leader Choice award at the 2025 Indonesia Visionary Leadership Awards, held at Truntum Hotel Kuta, Bali, on July 4, 2025. The award recognized his impactful innovation, breakthroughs, and visionary ideas that have driven development and inspired various government and community stakeholders.
The conference’s spirit was strengthened by the presence of Raja Agung Nusantara, who also serves as Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Student and Youth Movement (GMPRI). On the occasion, he emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and synergy among youth organizations to strengthen the role of young people in regional and national development.
The NTB KNPI Jaya Indonesia Raya Conference was attended and supported by the KNPI Central Board leadership, including KNPI Central Board Chairman Dr. H. Ali Hanafiah, SE, SH, M.Si; Secretary-General Guntur Setiawan, SH, MM; and Treasurer-General Teguh Riadi, along with the entire KNPI Central Board team. The event ran smoothly and solemnly at Raja Hotel Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara.
The Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) reaffirmed its commitment as a unifying platform for Indonesian youth to remain at the forefront of national development. With a new spirit and visionary leadership, KNPI is optimistic about addressing contemporary challenges and making tangible contributions to building a more advanced and just Indonesia.
