The Indonesian, (Jakarta)– The Indonesian Customary Council (Majelis Adat Indonesia/MAI) is pleased to announce the formation of the Provincial Board of the Media Center of MAI Southeast Sulawesi. This strategic step aims to strengthen the nation’s cultural governance and serve as the official mouthpiece for disseminating customary news throughout the archipelago.
This initiative is an important part of strengthening the national customary structure, in line with the Nusantara Royal Decree Number Istimewa 0455.2210.2025 signed by the Kings, Sultans, Queens, Datuks, and royal figures throughout the archipelago.
Appreciation from the Nusantara Customary Leaders
The Secretary-General of MAI, His Excellency M. Rafik Datuk Rajo Kuaso, expressed his deep appreciation for the formation of the MAI Media Center as an important element in driving the revival of customs in Indonesia.
“Legitimate customary leaders are those who move concretely and fight sincerely for customs. Because customs are upheld by those who own the customs, not for interests,” said Datuk Rajo Kuaso.
The Supreme Ruler of the Nusantara, DYMM Sri Paduka Baginda Prof. Dr. M.S.P.A. Iansyah Rechza F.W., Ph.D., Maharaja Kutai Mulawarman, also expressed his full appreciation. He considers the MAI Media Center as a strategic instrument in grounding customary messages for the benefit of the nation.
“Culture is the soul of the nation. If it is maintained, the nation’s identity will remain strong amidst the currents of time,” said Baginda Maharaja.
Ratification of the Letter of Assignment for the Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Customary Mandala Media Center
Along with the formation of the MAI Media Center, a Letter of Assignment has been issued to:
– Name: Yangmulia (Ym). Stenly Diover, ST
– Position: Head of the Customary Mandala Media Center / MAI Southeast Sulawesi
The mandate includes the following tasks:
1. Disseminating the noble teachings, values, and direction of the Indonesian Customary Council in Southeast Sulawesi.
2. Being the official liaison of MAI with all television, radio, print, and online media.
3. Gathering customary leaders in a circle of deliberation to strengthen the order of regional management.
4. Reporting customary developments and dynamics to the MAI Secretariat General.
Work Plan of the MAI Southeast Sulawesi Media Center

As a follow-up to this mandate, the following is the Work Plan of the MAI Southeast Sulawesi Media Center:
1. Formation of the MAI Southeast Sulawesi Media Center Work Team as an operational structure.
2. Quarter I (January–March 2026): Massive socialization and introduction of the MAI institution throughout the Anoa Earth Peninsula, covering 17 regencies/cities as well as all customary institutions and youth organizations.
3. Quarter II (April–June 2026): Embracing customary and youth leaders to be involved in the management of MAI Southeast Sulawesi, to be submitted as a Decree of the Regional Management Board to the MAI DPP.
4. Scheduling the Inauguration of the MAI Southeast Sulawesi Regional Management Board, in coordination with the MAI DPP, to further discuss the official work program of the MAI Sultra DPW.

Five Affirmations of Nusantara Customs
MAI reaffirms the five customary points that form the moral basis of the nation as stated in the Nusantara Royal Decree No. 0455.2210.2025:
1. Supporting the strengthening of MAI as an ethical and cultural institution of the nation.
2. Maintaining customary values as the identity of the nation.
3. Rejecting the misuse of customs for political and commercial interests.
4. Encouraging the growth of customary culture, arts, and education.
5. Affirming that custom is service, not a commodity.
