JAKARTA — Raja Agung Nusantara, Chair of the National Leadership Council (DPP) of the Indonesian Students and Youth Movement (GMPRI), expressed high appreciation and pride for the performance achievements of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) presented at the 2025 Year-End Briefing (RAT) held at the Main Meeting Hall (Rupatama) of the Polri Headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/12/2025).
Raja Agung Nusantara stated that Polri’s 2025 performance report demonstrates tangible, measurable work focused on the people’s interests, while proving that the “Precision Polri” transformation is not merely a slogan but has been implemented concretely in the field.
“We at DPP GMPRI appreciate and fully support Polri’s performance. What was presented in this Year-End Briefing shows that the Precision Polri commitment is truly effective and directly felt by the public,” said Raja Agung Nusantara.
He highlighted Polri’s strategic achievements across several key sectors, including maintaining public security and order (Kamtibmas), upholding just law enforcement, cybersecurity, and humanitarian and social missions that directly address community needs.
According to Raja Agung, while no institution is perfect, Polri has shown firmness and courage in carrying out internal improvements—including taking decisive action against members who abuse their authority.
“Firm measures against such individuals demonstrate Polri’s seriousness in safeguarding the institution’s dignity. This reflects a commitment to continuous improvement, openness to criticism, and self-development,” he emphasized.
Raja Agung Nusantara also addressed various attacks and negative opinions targeting Polri in digital spaces. He noted that this dynamic is a logical consequence of Polri’s significant role and success in maintaining national stability.
“Just as a taller tree faces stronger winds, challenges and criticism should be seen as energy to strengthen Polri’s professionalism and integrity,” he said.
Furthermore, GMPRI recognizes Polri’s strategic role in supporting the grand vision of President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita (Eight Aspirations), particularly in the agendas of human resource development and national resilience. This is evident from Polri’s active involvement in building Nutrition Service Units (SPPG), free nutritious meal programs, and strengthening national food security.
“Under the leadership of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Polri has shown a clear direction for transformation: to be present, serve, and protect the people. This is the face of Polri we expect as Indonesia’s youth and younger generation,” stated Raja Agung Nusantara.
The 2025 Polri Year-End Briefing was deemed more open and accountable than in previous years. Performance achievements were presented directly by senior Polri Headquarters officials, including Police Commissioner General Fadil Imran (Astamaops Polri), Police Commissioner General Wahyu Widada (Irwasum Polri), and Police Commissioner General Syahardiantono (Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency).
The event was also attended by various community representatives, including the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), academics, religious leaders, labor representatives, youth organizations, and media editors-in-chief—showcasing Polri’s transparency to the public.
In closing, Raja Agung Nusantara affirmed that GMPRI is ready to be a critical yet constructive partner for Polri in maintaining unity, upholding the law, and ensuring national stability.
“We believe that a strong Polri is one loved by the people. DPP GMPRI supports Polri to continue transforming for a safe, just, and dignified Indonesia,” he concluded.
