The INDONESIAN (Bogor)– Abuya Tubagus Mulyadi Mawahib Alqodim Albantany, a national charismatic scholar who also serves on the Spiritual Supreme Council of the Indonesian Traditional Council (Majelis Adat Indonesia/MAI), has reaffirmed the importance of silaturahmi (mutual care/communal bonds), respect for scholars, and maintaining the five daily prayers as the spiritual and moral foundation of the nation.

On Monday, December 15, 2025, Abuya paid a silaturahmi visit to the TNI Military Police (PM) Headquarters in Bogor, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Anggi. The meeting was held in a warm and familiar atmosphere, serving to strengthen spiritual, moral, and national ties between scholars and the state defense institution.

Additionally, Abah Alam – as he is also known – attended a silaturahmi event commemorating the Indonesian Army Anniversary, alongside the Army Chief of Staff (KASAD) and the Commander of the III/Siliwangi Military Region, held at the Manunggal Field of the 15th Infantry Brigade Kujang II Siliwangi. His presence symbolized the strong synergy between scholars, the TNI, and national elements in safeguarding the unity and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

In his sermon, Abuya Tubagus Mulyadi Mawahib Alqodim Albantany emphasized three key messages that form the foundation of Muslim life:

– First, silaturahmi is a shortcut to receiving the blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala (Glory to Him, the Exalted).
– Second, silaturahmi is a shortcut to obtaining forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
– Third, silaturahmi is the reason for the opening of sustenance and the extension of life by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.

“Therefore, as Muslims, we must continue to maintain silaturahmi, both with family and with everyone, so that we may receive forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala,” Abuya stated in his sermon.

He also reminded the audience of the importance of respecting scholars and upholding the five daily obligatory prayers as the main pillars of character building and community safety.

“By respecting scholars and maintaining the five daily obligatory prayers, God willing, we will receive guidance, peace, and great benefits as provisions for the afterlife,” he concluded.

These national and religious messages were also delivered by Abuya Tubagus Mulyadi Mawahib Alqodim Albantany at the Indonesian Traditional Council (MAI) Communication Forum on December 15, 2025, which was attended by kings, sultans, datuks, queens, and traditional leaders from across the Nusantara archipelago.

This cross-sector silaturahmi between scholars, the TNI, and traditional leaders reaffirms that spiritual, cultural, and national values are an inseparable unity in safeguarding Indonesia’s unity, morality, and future.
