The INDONESIAN, Maligi, West Pasaman – As a form of support for disaster relief efforts in West Sumatra, mining entrepreneur Mulyadi, accompanied by a delegation consisting of Sasak Ranah Pasisie Sub-district Head Yeni Tunida, Pasaman Police Chief A.K.P Zulfikar, and members of the Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officers), visited Nagari Maligi to distribute goodie bags to children.
Traveling by sea, the delegation brought approximately 300 goodie bags, which were distributed to children in the area. Their arrival was met with joy by the children and their parents, with happiness radiating from their smiles as they returned home with their gifts.
Reached by phone, Mulyadi stated, “Thank God, we met the children in Maligi earlier, and they were happy and joyful with the gifts we brought.” Meanwhile, Yeni Tunida expressed her gratitude, saying, “We extend our gratitude to Mr. Mulyadi, the donors, and everyone who has done good for the people of Nagari Maligi.”
Salman Harahap, a supervisor from the IKTN Center, representing Basaruddin, and a participant in the visit, commended Mulyadi for his generosity. He expressed hope that this act would inspire other entrepreneurs to contribute to helping post-disaster communities.
