JAKARTA – Deputy Chief of Jakarta Central Police AKBP Budi Prasetya, S.I.K., M.Si, has expressed hope that Perisai Syarikat Islam will play an active role and build strong collaboration with the Indonesian National Police (Polri), particularly in the Jakarta Central area. He made the statement while attending the inauguration of Perisai Syarikat Islam’s Jakarta Provincial Branch and Sub-branch leaders, which was held smoothly at Hotel Tavia, Jakarta, on Monday (December 15, 2025).

According to him, synergy between law enforcement and community organizations is crucial for creating a conducive environment for public security and order (kamtibmas). Close collaboration is expected to strengthen efforts to maintain environmental stability and serve as a platform to address various issues that may arise in Jakarta Central.

“Going forward, we hope Perisai Syarikat Islam can collaborate and become a strategic partner for Polri, especially Jakarta Central Police, in maintaining public security and order,” AKBP Budi Prasetya said in his speech. The inauguration event was also attended by leaders from various organizations and representatives of community institutions, demonstrating broad support for the organization’s development.

Meanwhile, Perisai Syarikat Islam’s General Chair, Aditya Yusma Perdana, expressed appreciation and gratitude to all parties who supported the successful holding of the inauguration. He also acknowledged the importance of cooperation with various stakeholders, including police and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel, in achieving the organization’s goals for positive community impact.

“I would like to thank the Police representatives present on behalf of the Deputy Chief, as well as officials from the local Military District Command (Dandim) and Military Command (Kodim), and all distinguished guests who graced this evening’s event,” said Aditya.

He hoped the newly inaugurated leadership would carry out the organization’s mandate with full responsibility and contribute positively to the progress of society and the nation. According to him, all upcoming programs will be aligned with the national and Islamic values upheld by Perisai Syarikat Islam, with a focus on human resource development and community empowerment at the local level.
