The INDONESIAN (JAKARTA)— Plans to establish ABS Law Firm and FBO Law Firm have entered an institutional strengthening phase. This was confirmed during an audience between ABS and FBO leadership with the Board of Patrons, management board members, and team representatives, held on Friday, August 14, 2026.
ABS & FBO President Ferdinand Weimar DJ, accompanied by ABS & FBO Law Firm Chairman Santrawan Paparang and their delegation, held the audience with Board Patron Laksdya TNI Edwin Rajo Mangkuto. The meeting proceeded in a familial atmosphere and served as a consolidation milestone to finalize the establishment of the two legal firms.
During the discussion, Laksdya TNI Edwin Rajo Mangkuto conveyed his support for the initiative. The Board Patron’s backing is regarded as a vital impetus for the team to prepare the institutions thoroughly—prioritizing professionalism, integrity, legal certainty, ethical standards, and public interest.
The founding of both law firms constitutes an extension of the values long upheld by ABS and FBO. Previously, Ferdinand Weimar DJ had unveiled the identities and logos of FBO Law Firm and ABS Law Firm as part of preparations for their launch in Indonesia’s Independence Month.
FBO Law Firm carries the spirit of struggle, courage, discipline, sportsmanship, and the rule of law; meanwhile, ABS Law Firm champions nationalism, trust, legal guidance, and solutions. Both are envisioned as professional hubs that not only deliver legal services but also demonstrate genuine concern for societal issues.
Ferdinand Weimar DJ emphasized that the ethos forged through FBO’s journey in sports is now being expanded into the legal sector.
“FBO was born from a spirit of struggle, discipline, courage, and sportsmanship. These very values form our foundation for delivering professional, integrity-driven legal services. Fundamentally, an advocate is also a fighter standing on the frontline defending rights and justice,” he stated.
ABS Law Firm adopts the tagline “Advocacy, Building Trust, Solutions”—reflecting its commitment to providing professional legal guidance, fostering trust, and delivering resolutions for the public and all seekers of justice.
Ferdinand Weimar DJ and Santrawan Paparang confirmed that the establishment process will be carried out seriously, systematically, professionally, and in stages—including strengthening human resources, expertise, governance frameworks, and service readiness.
The two firms are not intended to function merely as administrative entities; rather, they will serve as spaces for advocacy, consultation, legal education, mentorship, and service that deliver tangible benefits to the community.
This move further solidifies the direction of ABS and FBO: from the outset, they have focused not only on organizational development but also on contributing through sports, nation-building, social empowerment, and now the legal sector.
With support from the Board of Patrons, Advisory Board, management, and all personnel, ABS Law Firm and FBO Law Firm are expected to grow into credible, professional, and upright legal institutions—upholding the advocate code of ethics, supremacy of law, justice, public welfare, and the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
The audience underscored that building legal institutions requires more than organizational setup; it demands consolidation, competence, integrity, sound governance, and the courage to provide solutions when society faces legal challenges.
United in purpose, ABS Law Firm and FBO Law Firm are now advancing to the next phase: creating a professional legal framework rooted in a spirit of service to the nation and its people.
ABS ONE, FBO ONE. NKRI Priceless. Merdeka!
