The INDONESIAN, (Jakarta)– A 20-year-old student identified as Lingga Nurizky Ferlyand filed a report alleging criminal embezzlement of two vehicles with the Integrated Police Service Centre (SPKT) of Polda Metro Jaya on Monday evening, 27 July 2026.

The report is registered under number LP/B/5473/VII/2026/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, received by police at 10:17 PM Western Indonesian Time.

According to the Report Acceptance Receipt issued to the complainant, the case concerns alleged embezzlement as stipulated under Law No. 1 of 2023 regarding the Criminal Code.

In his report, Lingga stated the incident began on 13 July 2026 in the Mampang Prapatan XII area, South Jakarta. He claims he was asked to assist a man identified by the initials DD in securing a loan by handing over two vehicles as collateral.

The vehicles handed over are described as a 2026 blue BYD Denza D9 and a 2026 orange GWM Tank 300. In exchange, the reported party allegedly promised to disburse a loan amounting to Rp1.5 billion.

However, after the vehicles were handed over, the promised funds were never received. The complainant also stated he has no knowledge of the whereabouts of both vehicles, prompting him to file a police report at Polda Metro Jaya.

As of press time, no official statement has been issued by the police regarding the progress of the investigation or a response from the party named in the report. (Ed)
