Aspirator Indonesia Emas: Public Urged Not to Be Provoked by ‘Mass Movement’ Issue, Affirms Support for President Prabowo’s Leadership

The INDONESIAN, (Jakarta)— The General Chairperson of Aspirator Indonesia Emas (AIE), Ida Sunar Indarti, conveyed a political and moral message to the Indonesian people, urging them to remain calm, rational, and not easily influenced by various provocative issues emerging in public discourse, including narratives regarding a “mass movement” linked to efforts to topple President Prabowo Subianto.

In her statement, Ida emphasized that political dynamics characterized by speculation, unfounded opinions, and snippets of statements going viral on social media must be addressed wisely and not used as a basis to create public anxiety.

“We call on the public not to be easily confused by grand narratives that may not necessarily hold strong truth. This nation needs stability, not commotion built on provocation,” stated Drh. Ida Sunar Indarti on Monday (13/4).

Her remarks also responded to circulating video clips featuring the Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI), Tamsil Linrung, who mentioned the possibility of a “mass movement” in June 2026, even linking it to a scenario for a change in national leadership that involved the name of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

According to Ida, such narratives have the potential to spread disinformation and cloud the national atmosphere if not addressed proportionally.

AIE considers that thus far, the policies and programs implemented by President Prabowo Subianto are on the right track in addressing the nation’s challenges, both in terms of economy, national resilience, and human resource development.

Key reasons for the public to remain unprovoked include:

– Need for Public Support: The current administration requires public backing so that strategic agendas can be implemented consistently without disruption from baseless political speculation.
– Measured and Sustainable Work Programs: President Prabowo’s policies are designed for the long term and require public trust, not interference from destructive narratives.
– Dangers of Disinformation in the Digital Era: Viral video clips, personal opinions, or narratives do not always reflect complete facts. The public must be able to filter information critically.
– Preserving National Unity: Political provocation has the potential to divide society. Unity must be maintained as the main foundation of the nation’s strength.

Furthermore, Ida affirmed that Aspirator Indonesia Emas (AIE) will remain at the forefront in safeguarding the legitimate government and fully supporting the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto in carrying out the people’s mandate.

“We believe that the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto is part of a great effort to bring Indonesia toward progress. Therefore, we will not remain silent against attempts that could weaken public trust through irresponsible provocation,” she asserted.

AIE also invites all elements of the nation to uphold political ethics, prioritize constructive dialogue, and reject all forms of narratives that potentially create unrest and national instability.

Amidst evolving political dynamics, AIE emphasizes that democratic maturity is reflected in the public’s ability to filter information, maintain composure, and remain confident in the prevailing constitutional mechanisms.

According to Ida, the Indonesian nation must not be trapped in fear scenarios built by certain parties, but should instead remain focused on real work, unity, and a shared future.(Ed)
