PRIME NEWS POST
Tangerang – The Chairman of the Central Leadership Board (DPP) of the Republic of Indonesia Student and Youth Movement (GMPRI), Raja Agung Nusantara, has urged the Tangerang Regency Government to promptly issue an official response to the request for Basic Policy Outline (Pokir) data of Tangerang Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) members submitted by GMPRI DPP.
According to Raja Agung Nusantara, the GMPRI DPP National Legal and Human Rights Investigation Team has sent an official letter to the Tangerang Regency Regional Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) to request copies of Pokir data for the 55 DPRD members of Tangerang Regency for the 2019–2024 and 2024–2029 periods, as part of efforts to promote regional budget transparency and accountability.
The request letter, numbered A.043/DPP/GMPRI/1/2026, was submitted to the Head of Tangerang Regency BAPPEDA, Erwin Mawandy, S.T., M.Si. However, based on information received by GMPRI DPP, BAPPEDA stated that Pokir data can only be provided with the approval of the Tangerang Regent.
Following up on this matter, the GMPRI DPP National Legal and Human Rights Investigation Team conducted a direct visit to the Tangerang Regent’s Office to confirm follow-up actions on the submitted letter. To date, the request letter has not received an official response from the Tangerang Regent’s office.
GMPRI DPP Chairman Raja Agung Nusantara stated that such delays should not be allowed to drag on, as they could set a bad precedent for public information disclosure in the region.
“We have followed official procedures and even conducted a direct visit to the Regent’s Office. However, no response has been received so far. We urge that the request letter be immediately answered to avoid setting a bad precedent for public information disclosure in Tangerang Regency,” emphasized Raja Agung Nusantara on February 20, 2026.
He stressed that the request for Pokir data is part of the public’s right as regulated under Law Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure, which guarantees the public’s right to obtain information related to government administration.
According to Raja Agung Nusantara, Pokir data is important public information to ensure transparency in the planning and implementation of regional development budgets.
“This request for Pokir data is a form of public participation in overseeing regional government administration. Budget transparency is a government obligation and a public right,” he said.
GMPRI DPP has requested complete and detailed Pokir data covering:
1. List of each of the 55 DPRD members’ Pokir per fiscal year.
2. Details of Pokir programs and activities accommodated in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RKPD), Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget Framework and Priority Programs (KUA-PPAS), and Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
3. Budget value of each Pokir along with activity locations.
4. Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) implementing each Pokir proposal.
5. Activity realization status (realized, not realized, or in progress).
6. Legal basis and verification mechanism for Pokir by BAPPEDA.
Raja Agung Nusantara emphasized that GMPRI DPP is committed to overseeing clean, transparent, and accountable governance. He also stated that the organization will not hesitate to take legal action if the request is not processed in accordance with applicable regulations.
“We hope the Tangerang Regency Government will immediately provide an official response. Information disclosure is part of good governance and should not be hindered by prolonged administrative procedures,” he stressed.
The request letter has also been forwarded to the Tangerang Regent, the Supreme Audit Board (BPK), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a form of public oversight.
GMPRI is a legal entity student and youth organization committed to contributing to national development, law enforcement, and human rights protection.
