Halal Products, Thriving Businesses, Consumer Trust.
The INDONESIAN (Jakarta) – To support the strengthening of the national halal business ecosystem and help business actors comply with prevailing laws and regulations, the Halal Product Process Assistance Institute (LP3H) Monas Halal Center, in collaboration with the Pasar Jaya Blok M Consumer Cooperative (KKP Jaya Blok M), has successfully organized a Socialization and Free Halal Certification Assistance Program for MSMEs and traders in the Blok M Square area.
The activity took place from June 3 to 9, 2026, at Mutiara 3, Ground Floor, Blok M Square, South Jakarta, operating daily from 10:00 to 20:00 WIB.
This program supports the implementation of Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance and Government Regulation No. 42 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of Halal Product Assurance, which requires business actors in certain sectors to hold halal certification in accordance with applicable provisions.
The Head of the Organizing Committee, Arial Saputra — who also serves as Executive Chair of LP3H Monas Halal Center — invited all business actors, especially MSMEs in and around Blok M Square, to take advantage of this opportunity.
“This program reflects our commitment to helping business owners obtain halal certification in an easy, fast, and guided manner. We encourage traders not to delay the process, as halal certification is not only a legal requirement but also boosts consumer confidence and increases product competitiveness in the market,” said Arial Saputra.
In addition to halal certification assistance, the event also provided information and registration services for BPJS Employment, along with outreach on programs run by BAZNAS and BAZIS. These services are part of broader efforts to improve the protection and welfare of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
Meanwhile, Ustaz Arie Monas — Head of the Monas Pondok Labu Nusantara Foundation and Chair of the Regional Board of the Market Traders Committee (KPP) — expressed appreciation for the initiative.
According to him, the program represents a concrete step toward raising legal awareness, improving business quality, and strengthening public trust in Indonesian MSME products.
“I commend LP3H Monas Halal Center, KKP Jaya Blok M, and all committee members for initiating and carrying out this program. Halal certification is more than just a regulatory obligation — it is a valuable asset for business growth and consumer protection. I hope this program brings wide benefits to all traders and MSME owners,” said Ustaz Arie Monas.
