PB PERLASI and UNJ Strengthen Collaboration to Achieve Sporting Success in Indonesian Kite Flying

The Executive Board of the All-Indonesia Kite Association (PB PERLASI) and the State University of Jakarta (UNJ) are strengthening their synergy to develop kite flying as a competitive sport, aiming for achievements at both national and international levels.

This collaboration was realized through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and an outreach session themed “Competitive Kite Fighting: Toward a Performance-Based Sport,” featuring the General Chairman of PB PERLASI, H. Essa Muhammad Nuruddin, S.H., and the Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Human Movement Sciences (FIKK) at UNJ, Prof. Dr. Nofi Marlina Siregar, M.Pd., as speakers.

The forum served as a pivotal moment, bringing together a sports organization and the academic sphere to bolster athlete development, unlock potential, and build a professional, competitive kite-flying sport.

PB PERLASI expressed its appreciation to UNJ, the General Treasurer of PB PERLASI, Ustaz Muhammad Taufan Hidayat, and Dr. Mela Aryani, S.Si., M.Pd., for their support and contributions toward the success of the event.

It is hoped that this synergy will evolve into concrete programs that advance the sport of kite flying and lead to accomplishments that make Indonesia proud.
