The INDONESIAN (ACEH )– — Agents of Change Upholding the Rule of Law”, the activity serves as a strategic platform to instil values of leadership, intellectual rigour, and public service in prospective members.
Rifqi Maulana, S.H., Chair of PERMAHI Aceh, emphasised that MAPERCA is far more than an orientation programme; it is a structured process to build character and capability, preparing law students to stand at the forefront in advancing justice and upholding the rule of law across Indonesia.
In Rifqi’s view, law students must have the courage to think critically, maintain uncompromising integrity, and offer workable solutions to legal and social challenges facing communities.
“PERMAHI must be the breeding ground for tomorrow’s legal leaders. We aim for our cadres in Aceh to excel not only academically but also possess the moral courage to speak up for justice and champion the public interest,” Rifqi stated.
Under his leadership, PERMAHI Aceh has steadily expanded its scope for cadre development and human‑resource strengthening. Programmes ranging from legal education initiatives, public discussions, and advocacy work to broader institutional networking form the core of the organisation’s work — equipping law students to remain relevant and responsive to evolving challenges.
The Second MAPERCA also features speakers from diverse backgrounds: law‑enforcement officials, academics, legal practitioners, and community figures. Their participation is intended to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics within the legal profession and the demands of leadership.
Rifqi Maulana noted that the quality of Indonesia’s future legal system depends heavily on the competence of the generation currently being shaped in universities — making systematic, well‑directed, and sustained cadre development essential.
“PERMAHI Aceh exists to renew the spirit among law students. We produce cadres who understand law not merely as written text, but who ensure it functions as a living instrument of justice felt by the people,” he added.
The holding of MAPERCA II stands as proof that PERMAHI Aceh continues to grow as a purpose‑driven organisation actively nurturing young legal intellectuals. Under Rifqi Maulana’s guidance, it advances a clear vision: to shape law students into agents of change — principled, progressive, and deeply committed to the nation’s future.
With a strong focus on cadre development, PERMAHI Aceh expresses confidence in its ability to produce a generation of legal leaders ready to meet contemporary challenges and safeguard the rule of law throughout Indonesia.
