The INDONESIAN , (Jakarta)– The National Board of the Indonesian Law Students Association (DPN PERMAHI) officially held its 2026 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) on Friday, 29 May 2026, at the Jambi Representative Office in Cikini, Jakarta. Conducted in a hybrid format, this event served as a pivotal moment to strengthen the national consolidation of law students from across various regions of Indonesia.

The meeting was presided over directly by DPN PERMAHI Chairman, Azhar Sidiq S., accompanied by Secretary-General M. Afghan Ababil. Approximately 35 participants attended this strategic forum, comprising central board members and representatives from PERMAHI Regional Coordinators nationwide, participating both in-person and online.

The primary focus of DPN PERMAHI’s 2026 work program includes strengthening internal organization, standardizing the curriculum for the development of law student cadres, advancing scientific legal research, community service initiatives, and reinforcing the consolidation of law students throughout Indonesia.

Furthermore, the meeting also discussed several upcoming national strategic agendas. These include plans for an audience with the Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD), a meeting with the Chairperson of the PERMAHI Alumni Association in Padang, and exploring partnerships with various Ministries and Institutions starting in June 2026.

Azhar Sidiq S. emphasized that the National Working Meeting is not merely an administrative forum, but a significant step toward building a progressive law student movement that delivers tangible contributions to the nation.
