The INDONESIAN — As the administration of Indonesia’s 8th President, General (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto, approaches its first anniversary, various public figures have praised his leadership for ushering in a wave of positive transformation for the nation. One of the most passionate voices of appreciation came from Raja Agung Nusantara, Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Youth Student Movement (DPP GMPRI) and Executive Chairman of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (DPP KNPI), who delivered a fiery and inspiring statement during the National Dialogue Forum themed “One Year of the Prabowo-Gibran Administration in the Perspective of Law, Politics, Economy, and Culture” held in Jakarta on Friday (Oct 17).
In his address, Raja Agung Nusantara emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership has instilled a renewed spirit of governance, strengthened national sovereignty, and restored the people’s confidence in their government.
“President Prabowo is not merely working — he is devoting himself wholeheartedly. Within just one year, he has exemplified the character of a true leader who fulfills his promises to the people,”
said Raja Agung Nusantara before an audience of national figures, scholars, and representatives of the Nusantara Indigenous Council.
He further noted that the Prabowo–Gibran administration has already realized several key campaign commitments, including the Nutritious Free Meal Program (MBG), which currently benefits tens of millions of Indonesian children. According to him, the initiative has not only received widespread domestic acclaim but has also drawn international attention for its swift, equitable, and future-oriented implementation.
“The Free Nutritious Meal Program is living proof of the President’s love for the nation’s next generation. It is not just a populist policy but a strategic move to build a future that is healthy, strong, and intelligent,” he asserted.
Raja Agung Nusantara also highlighted Prabowo’s leadership style — firm yet compassionate — which has successfully unified the spirit of nationalism from Sabang to Merauke. He described President Prabowo as the embodiment of the ideal leader envisioned by the ancestors of the archipelago: decisive, courageous, and statesmanlike.
“We must be grateful to have a President who thinks strategically and acts in the interest of the people, not a select few elites. His leadership sets Indonesia on a new path — sovereign, self-reliant, and dignified in the eyes of the world,” he added.
Coincidentally, the forum also took place on President Prabowo Subianto’s birthday. On that occasion, Raja Agung Nusantara extended his heartfelt birthday greetings and prayers.
“On behalf of all elements of the indigenous communities, youth, and people of the Nusantara, I wish a very happy birthday to President Prabowo Subianto. May you be blessed with long life, good health, and divine protection. May you continue to lead this nation with wisdom and steadfastness,” he said, greeted by warm applause from the audience.
In closing, Raja Agung Nusantara called upon all elements of society — from youth and students to traditional and cultural leaders — to continue supporting the Prabowo–Gibran administration in realizing the grand national vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.
“Let us uphold the spirit of unity and mutual cooperation. This government belongs to the people, and it is the people who will reap the rewards if we all move forward together with the President’s great vision,” he concluded.
The National Dialogue Forum was attended by prominent national figures, academics, young entrepreneurs, and representatives of civic organizations from across Indonesia. ()
