Tangerang – The Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Republic Students and Youth Movement (DPP GMPRI) has officially submitted a request and demand to the Regional Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) of Tangerang Regency to provide copies of specific data on the Main Points of Consideration (Pokok-Pokok Pikiran/Pokir) of the 55 members of the Tangerang Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) for the 2019–2024 and 2024–2029 periods.
The request was submitted directly by Amjad Fathulbari, Head of the National Investigation Team for Law and Human Rights of DPP GMPRI, via an official letter numbered A.043/DPP/GMPRI/1/2026 addressed to the Head of Tangerang Regency BAPPEDA, Mr. Erwin Mawandy, S.T., M.Si.
This request is based on the principles of transparency, accountability, and public information disclosure as mandated by Law Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure. DPP GMPRI emphasizes that Pokir data is public information that must be accessible to the public to ensure accountability in regional development planning and budget implementation.
“This request is a form of public participation in overseeing regional governance. Its purpose is to prevent potential abuse of authority, conflicts of interest, and budget planning practices that are not in accordance with applicable regulations,” Amjad Fathulbari stated firmly in his position statement.
DPP GMPRI has requested complete and detailed data, including:
1. A list of Pokir for each of the 55 DPRD members per fiscal year.
2. Details of Pokir programs and activities accommodated in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RKPD), Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget Framework and Priority Programs (KUA-PPAS), and Regional Budget (APBD).
3. The budget value of each Pokir along with activity locations.
4. Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) implementing each Pokir proposal.
5. Activity realization status (realized, not realized, or in progress).
6. Legal basis and verification mechanism for Pokir by BAPPEDA.
Based on this, DPP GMPRI demands that:
1. Tangerang Regency BAPPEDA provide written copies of the aforementioned Pokir data.
2. Tangerang Regency BAPPEDA not obscure, reduce, or omit any data.
3. The data must be submitted within 7 (seven) working days from the receipt of the request.
DPP GMPRI stated that if these demands are not followed up, the organization will take further legal steps in accordance with applicable mechanisms.
DPP GMPRI is committed to overseeing clean and transparent governance. The publication of Pokir data is expected to enhance public trust in the democratic process and participatory development planning in Tangerang Regency.
The request letter has also been sent as an enclosure to the Tangerang Regent, the Supreme Audit Board (BPK), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a form of reporting and oversight.
