The INDONESIAN , (Jakarta)— Fede Swimming School of Jonggol District has reaffirmed its commitment to early-age athlete development by fielding seven of its best athletes at the Student Open 2026 Series 1. The event was held at the Bulungan Sports Hall, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on April 17–18, 2026.
This prestigious national-level swimming competition is a routine agenda organized twice a year by a committee affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The event has also been curated by the National Achievement Center (Pusat Prestasi Nasional) and verified by Aquatik Indonesia, attracting hundreds of athletes from various regions across Indonesia.
The competition aims to scout and develop swimming talents across all age categories, from early childhood to university level. Aside from serving as a competitive platform, the event provides an opportunity for athletes to showcase their best abilities in various race categories.
For this edition, Fede Swimming School Jonggol sent the following seven athletes:
Jericho Bungaran Sinaga, Fariz Gibran Ramadhan, Clara Messy Romaito Sinaga, Maria Hanael Mora Prasetyo, Davfindo Putra Prathama, Isla Al-Hakim Wahyu Adil Wijaya, and Arya Setya Pratama.

“High discipline in training is required, not only in terms of technique but also mental readiness for competition. Athletes must possess a fighter’s mentality in the pool. The training program we implement is designed to achieve maximum results,” he stated.
He added that without consistent training and discipline, it is difficult for athletes to achieve optimal performance.
At this event, the athletes from Fede Swimming School Jonggol competed in various categories, including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly.

Beyond competitive sports, swimming offers various essential benefits for children’s growth and development, such as improving cognitive function, building muscle strength, maintaining heart health, increasing lung capacity, as well as boosting self-confidence and motor skills. Furthermore, this activity is known to improve sleep quality and reduce the risk of water accidents.
One of the parents accompanying athlete Davfindo Putra Prathama shared the positive impact observed.
“Since my child started regular swimming training, his physical condition has improved significantly. Additionally, his sense of responsibility and self-confidence have increased, which has also had a positive effect on his academic performance,” she said.
The participation of Fede Swimming School Jonggol in the Student Open 2026 Series 1 is expected not only to yield achievements but also to be part of a continuous coaching process in nurturing future champion swimmers.
