From Ordinary People to Indonesia: PSI Ready to Declare

Jakarta – Anton Sukanta, founder of the Indonesian Ant Party (PSI), has expressed his readiness to soon declare the party he initiated as a response to the increasingly complex challenges facing the nation.

Anton emphasized that the presence of the Indonesian Ant Party is not merely to add to the number of political parties, but to bring a new spirit in addressing the social, political, and economic issues currently faced by society.

“This party was born out of real concern. Many national problems have not been seriously addressed, ranging from economic inequality and environmental degradation to deeply rooted corruption practices,” Anton said in his statement.

He explained that the “ant” philosophy was chosen as a symbol of collective struggle. According to him, ants represent hard work, mutual cooperation, and the strength of unity in facing major challenges.

“Ants may be small, but when they move together, even an elephant can fall. They are capable of building great strength. This is the spirit we want to bring into Indonesian politics,” he said.

Anton also stressed that the Indonesian Ant Party will focus on advocating for the interests of the common people, including workers, farmers, and micro-enterprise actors who have often been marginalized in public policy.

The official declaration of the Indonesian Ant Party is planned to take place in the near future, involving various elements of society. At that moment, Anton will present the party’s vision, mission, and future direction.

“We want to be directly involved in finding solutions to the nation’s problems,” he concluded.
