The INDONESIAN (JAKARTA) — The Central Governing Board of the Indonesian Students and Youth Movement (DPP GMPRI) has extended its highest appreciation and gratitude to National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Suheri for their support and contribution of sacrificial animals provided to DPP GMPRI in commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. The distribution of sacrificial meat was held at the Bukit Tigaraksa Housing Complex, Bantar Panjang, Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
This assistance stands as a tangible manifestation of social concern and the spirit of togetherness continually fostered between the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and youth groups as well as the wider community. The sacrificial animals received by DPP GMPRI were subsequently distributed to members of the organization and local residents eligible to receive the benefits of the sacrifice.
Raja Agung Nusantara, Chairman of DPP GMPRI, stated that the support from the National Police Chief and Metro Jaya Police Chief represents a deeply meaningful gesture of attention, while also serving as motivation for GMPRI members to continue being active and contributing to society.
“We convey our deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Suheri for the assistance and support of sacrificial animals provided to DPP GMPRI. This aid is not merely an act of social care, but also a symbol of the strong synergy between the National Police and the younger generation in building national solidarity and fostering a spirit of sharing with others,” Raja Agung Nusantara said on 29 May.
According to him, the occasion of Eid al-Adha is the perfect time to reinforce values of sacrifice, sincerity, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation within society. Therefore, DPP GMPRI is committed to ensuring that the distribution of sacrificial meat benefits both members of the organization and people in need.
Furthermore, DPP GMPRI recognizes that social programs carried out by the National Police under its Precise Policing initiative have brought positive impact to the community and strengthened the harmonious relationship between state institutions, youth groups, and various segments of society.
Nabila Permatasari, General Treasurer of DPP GMPRI, added that this sacrificial activity also serves as a means to strengthen bonds of friendship, enhance a sense of togetherness, and nurture a spirit of social awareness — values that are central to the organization’s mission.
DPP GMPRI expressed hope that the established synergy and collaboration with the National Police will continue to be strengthened through various social, educational, youth empowerment, and community programs, in support of realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
Through this sacrificial tradition and the distribution of meat, DPP GMPRI reaffirms its commitment to remain present within the community, bring benefits to others, strengthen unity, and be part of a national movement grounded in care, solidarity, and service to the nation and state.
