Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP Launched: An Integrated Digital Solution for Protecting Indonesian Migrant Workers

PRIME NEWS POST

JAKARTA – Grounded in the mandate of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, which obligates the state to protect all Indonesian people, and guided by the fifth principle of Pancasila: Social Justice for All Indonesians, PT. Malaysia Indonesia has introduced the Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP—a unified digital platform designed to strengthen protection, services, and welfare for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI).

The application is developed to address the wide range of challenges PMI continue to face, spanning recruitment processes, work placement, legal protection, health services, safety, remittance of earnings, and repatriation to Indonesia.

Ivan Raoul Benedict, Chief Executive Officer of PT. Malaysia Indonesia, stated that Indonesian Migrant Workers are foreign exchange earners and ambassadors of the nation who have made substantial contributions to national economic growth. As such, they deserve the highest level of protection enabled by digital technology.

“We built the Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP as an integrated solution that consolidates all the needs of Indonesian Migrant Workers within a single platform. Our goal is to ensure PMI have access to safe, fast, transparent, and user-friendly services—from pre-departure, throughout their employment overseas, until their return home,” Ivan said in Jakarta on Saturday (25/7/2026).

He added that the SUPERAPP also supports government efforts to improve governance standards for PMI protection through the digitalization of public services.

Services available on the platform include an E-Wallet, Remittance facilities, Digital Salary management, SOS Panic Button, E-Job placement portal, E-Shopping, E-Health services, Digital Work Permit, BPJS Employment and insurance premium payments, Legal Advice & Crisis Centre, and Funeral Assistance Service for the handling and repatriation of deceased workers.

“We want to bring peace of mind to every PMI and their families. Technology must serve as a tool for protection, not merely transactional convenience,” Ivan emphasized.

Meanwhile, Hazrin Basri, Chief Operating Officer of PT. Malaysia Indonesia, explained that Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP is designed as a digital ecosystem involving all relevant stakeholders from both the public and private sectors.

According to Hazrin, effective protection for PMI cannot be achieved by any single party alone; it requires collaboration across ministries and agencies, local governments, BP2MI, the Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection, Indonesian diplomatic missions abroad, financial institutions, manpower agencies, hospitals, insurance providers, and legal aid organizations.

“This SUPERAPP acts as a bridge for collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure services for PMI become faster, more effective, transparent, and fully integrated. We aim to build a digital ecosystem capable of delivering comprehensive protection to Indonesian Migrant Workers across all destination countries,” Hazrin stated.

He expressed hope that full support will be extended by all stakeholders to ensure millions of PMI and their families can benefit from the platform.

“We believe that protecting PMI is upholding the dignity of the Indonesian nation. Rooted in the spirit of mutual cooperation and digital innovation, the Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP is envisioned as a modern solution that enhances safety, welfare, and quality of life for Indonesian Migrant Workers worldwide,” Hazrin concluded.

Pejuang Merah Putih SUPERAPP is expected to mark a new milestone in the digital transformation of services for Indonesian Migrant Workers, unifying diverse functions into one accessible platform.

Bearing the corporate slogan “SUCCESS THROUGH SOLUTIONS”, the application aims to deliver more effective protection and improved welfare for PMI, while reinforcing Indonesia’s standing as a nation that gives full recognition and care to its foreign exchange heroes.
