JAKARTA — Raja Agung Nusantara, Deputy Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (DPP KNPI) and concurrently Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Students and Youth Movement (DPP GMPRI), has expressed high appreciation for the performance of Ir. Dohardo Pakpahan, M.Si, Head of the Bureau for State-Owned Assets (BMN) and Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) at the National Nutrition Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BGN).
Raja Agung Nusantara stated that the performance of the BMN and PBJ Bureau at BGN reflects a strong commitment to developing a procurement system that is professional, transparent, and accountable. According to him, such consistency forms a crucial foundation for strengthening good governance while ensuring the optimal utilization of state budget allocations.
He emphasized that, as national youth organizations, KNPI and GMPRI place serious attention on the implementation of clean and integrity-based governance practices. In his view, the leadership of Ir. Dohardo Pakpahan within the BMN and PBJ Bureau has demonstrated the right policy direction, particularly in establishing a procurement system oriented toward public interest.
Raja Agung Nusantara further underscored that the success of various national strategic programs, including the Free Nutritious Meals Program, is highly dependent on the effectiveness and efficiency of procurement processes. Therefore, consistency in planning, implementation, and oversight of procurement activities is considered a non-negotiable factor in ensuring program success.
He also noted that during a procurement coordination forum within the National Nutrition Agency, BGN was awarded the Proactive UKPBJ status, despite the institution having been established for only one year. According to Raja Agung, this achievement reflects the seriousness and hard work of the entire BMN and PBJ Bureau team in building a procurement system aligned with national standards.
Raja Agung conveyed that Ir. Dohardo Pakpahan has consistently emphasized the importance of improving the quality of task execution and service delivery across all BGN work units. This commitment, he said, aligns with the broader spirit of bureaucratic reform and institutional governance strengthening promoted by the government.
Furthermore, Raja Agung Nusantara explained that BMN and PBJ procurement plays a strategic role in the evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB). He highlighted that transparency through information disclosure mechanisms, including publication via the Public Information and Documentation Officer (PPID), is essential to ensure that all procurement processes remain open to public scrutiny and accountability.
According to him, the procurement coordination agenda implemented by BGN is not merely administrative in nature, but also serves as a reconciliation platform for establishing more structured and adaptive procurement processes. Going forward, procurement mechanisms are expected to accommodate the specific needs of each work unit through solid coordination among the Procurement Selection Working Group (POKJA), Procurement Officials (PP), and Commitment-Making Officials (PPK).
Raja Agung also stressed the importance of comprehensive documentation of all BMN and PBJ procurement activities so that they can be accessed and assessed by the public. He believes that proper documentation will strengthen public trust and generate positive evaluations in terms of information disclosure and internal oversight.
Through these efforts, Raja Agung Nusantara views the National Nutrition Agency as being on the right path toward establishing a shared understanding and an integrated procurement roadmap, covering all stages from planning to the handover of goods and services. He described this as part of BGN’s sustained commitment to implementing the principles of Good Governance and responsible state financial management.
In closing, Raja Agung Nusantara reaffirmed that KNPI and GMPRI will continue to encourage, support, and oversee the implementation of good governance practices. He emphasized that professional and transparent procurement of goods and services is a fundamental pillar for the success of national programs and a key factor in maintaining public trust in state institutions.
“This achievement must be preserved and continuously improved, as its benefits are not only felt by the institution itself, but by society at large,” he concluded.
