The INDONESIAN, (Jakarta) — Raja Agung Nusantara, Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Students and Youth Movement (DPP GMPRI), extended appreciation and congratulations following the unanimous re-election of H. Willgo Zainar as Chairman of the Regional Board of the Indonesian Farmers’ Harmony Association (DPD HKTI) for West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) for the 2026–2031 term, during the IX Regional Consultation (Musda) of HKTI NTB.
According to Raja Agung Nusantara, Willgo Zainar’s re-election reflects full trust from the entire HKTI NTB community in his leadership, dedication, and commitment to advancing farmers’ interests and agricultural development in the region.
“On behalf of DPP GMPRI, I convey congratulations and success to Mr. H. Willgo Zainar upon the renewed mandate to lead HKTI NTB through 2031. His unanimous election demonstrates strong confidence among all Musda participants in his leadership capacity and track record in building the organization and championing farmers’ welfare,” Raja Agung Nusantara stated.
Raja Agung, who also serves as Daily Chairman of the Central Board of the National Committee of Indonesian Youth (DPP KNPI), viewed HKTI NTB’s focus on strengthening its organizational structure down to the village and farmer group levels as a highly appropriate strategy for addressing national food security challenges.
He noted that the agricultural sector currently stands as one of the nation’s core development pillars, deserving support from all societal elements — including youth and students.
“We see the vision built by HKTI NTB under H. Willgo Zainar aligning with the nation’s broader agenda, particularly supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita to achieve national food sovereignty and security. Strengthening the organization at the grassroots level will further consolidate farmers’ position as the vanguard of Indonesia’s agricultural development,” he emphasized.
Raja Agung Nusantara further affirmed that GMPRI and youth circles stand ready to support collaborative programs aimed at boosting agricultural productivity, regenerating young farmers, adopting agricultural technology, and strengthening rural economies.
He also commended Willgo Zainar’s commitment to fostering synergy among local and central governments, academics, business stakeholders, and the farming community — a collaborative approach identified as key to sustainable agricultural development.
“Agriculture cannot thrive in isolation. Multi-party cooperation is essential to ensure policies truly address farmers’ needs in the field. We are optimistic that under Mr. Willgo Zainar’s leadership, HKTI NTB will grow stronger and serve as a strategic government partner in achieving food self-sufficiency and enhancing farmers’ welfare,” he added.
Raja Agung Nusantara expressed hope that the 2026–2031 HKTI NTB leadership would promptly formulate strategic steps with direct impact for farmers, expand guidance to village and farmer group levels, and set a benchmark for other regions in building a modern, professional farmers’ organization oriented toward public welfare.
“Best wishes in carrying out this mandate. May HKTI NTB prosper, farmers thrive, and the noble goal of national food security be realized — for an Indonesia that is progressive, self-reliant, and sovereign,” he concluded.
