The INDONESIAN, (Jakarta)— The General Chairman of the Central Board of GMPRI and Daily Chairman of the Central Board of KNPI, Raja Agung Nusantara, expressed his highest appreciation for the performance of H. Lalu Wirajaya, who currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

According to Raja Agung Nusantara, Lalu Wirajaya’s track record, consistency, and political achievements demonstrate strong leadership capacity and great potential to advance further in regional political contests, including having a strong chance as a candidate for Regent of Central Lombok in the upcoming 2029 Local Elections.

“He is a figure who not only possesses political legitimacy but also enjoys tangible electoral support from the community. This is essential capital for future regional leadership,” stated Raja Agung Nusantara.

As is known, the Central Board of the Gerindra Party has officially appointed Lalu Wirajaya as Deputy Speaker of the NTB DPRD for the 2024–2029 period. This appointment was confirmed by the Chairman of the Gerindra Party Faction at the NTB DPRD, Sudirsah Sujanto, who stated that the official Decree Letter (SK) from the Central Board has been issued.

“The Central Board has issued a decree appointing Lalu Wirajaya to the position of Deputy Speaker of the NTB DPRD,” Sudirsah revealed.

Sudirsah also emphasized that all cadres and DPRD members from the Gerindra Party must comply with the party’s decision. He stressed the importance of loyalty and readiness among cadres to carry out their mandate in any assigned position.

Lalu Wirajaya himself is a member of the NTB DPRD representing Electoral District VII of Central Lombok. In the 2024 Legislative Election, he successfully garnered 35,910 votes, making him the second-highest vote-getter among the total 65 elected members of the NTB DPRD for the 2024–2029 period.

This achievement strengthens the position of the Gerindra Party as one of the main political forces in NTB. With 10 seats in the NTB DPRD—an equal number to Golkar Party as the vote leader—Gerindra is entitled to the position of Deputy Speaker I of the NTB DPRD.

Raja Agung Nusantara added that Lalu Wirajaya’s leadership at the NTB DPRD is expected to make a significant contribution to regional development and strengthen the legislative role in channeling public aspirations.

“Moving forward, figures like Lalu Wirajaya are greatly needed, not just as politicians, but as leaders capable of bringing real change to their region,” he concluded.
