JEMBRANA – The Commander of Kodim 1617/Jembrana (Dandim), Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Sy. Gafur Thalib, directly led a Coordination Meeting with Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of Jembrana Regency to prepare for the implementation of the 127th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) Program 2026. The event was held at the Kodim 1617/Jembrana Hall on Wednesday (January 14, 2026).

In his address, the Dandim emphasized that the success of TMMD relies heavily on collaboration and synergy among all involved parties. Considering the relatively short implementation period of TMMD, he stressed the importance of thorough preparation starting from the Pre-TMMD phase, which will begin on January 19, 2026.

“We must prepare for this TMMD thoroughly and in detail, from personnel readiness, materials, to supporting facilities and infrastructure. I ask all relevant parties to work to the fullest so that the implementation runs smoothly, safely, and on target,” emphasized Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Sy. Gafur Thalib.

The Dandim also instructed the Territorial Section Officers (Pasiter) and other supporting elements to ensure all technical requirements are ready before the TMMD opening on February 10, 2026, until the closing scheduled for March this year.

The 127th TMMD Program in Jembrana Regency will be focused in Penyaringan Village, Mendoyo District. The main physical targets include the construction of a 1,373-meter concrete village road, five soil retaining wall structures, and two deck slab units.

According to the Dandim, the construction has strategic value and direct benefits for the community.

“This development aims to facilitate the distribution of agricultural and plantation products, ease transportation access for school children, and serve as a connecting road to support residents’ mobility and daily activities,” he said.

In addition to the main physical targets, the Jembrana Regency Government also provides full support through the allocation of Penyaringan Village’s Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) for additional targets, including house renovation programs and drilled well construction for the community.

Closing the coordination meeting, the Dandim reminded all parties to prioritize occupational safety factors. He highlighted the terrain conditions at the TMMD location, which have several steep and quite challenging spots.

“I ask all personnel, including heavy equipment operators, to always prioritize safety and occupational health aspects during the implementation of TMMD,” he concluded.

The coordination meeting was attended by representatives from the Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda), Public Works, Housing, and Transportation Office, General Affairs Bureau of Jembrana Regency Secretariat, Mendoyo District Head, Penyaringan Village Head, and staff officers of Kodim 1617/Jembrana.
