Synergy for Food Self‑Sufficiency: Formula Top Indonesia Joins Mass Rice Harvest in Demak

PRIME NEWS POST

THE INDONESIAN (Demak)— Achieving national food self‑sufficiency calls for strong collaboration between the government, business players, and farmers. That spirit of partnership shone through at the Mass Rice Harvest held in Demak Regency, Central Java — part of broader efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector and lift national food productivity.

Representatives from PT Formula Top Indonesia attended to share knowledge and training on modern farming practices, specifically the use of Formula 100 and supporting plant nutrition boosters to raise farm yields sustainably.

Also present was Widiastuti, Deputy for Food and Agriculture Business Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Food, who emphasised that a robust agricultural sector forms the foundation of national food security.

The event was officially opened by Demak Regent Hj. Esti’anah, accompanied by the Regency Head of Agriculture, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, Don Muzakir — Chairman of Tani Merdeka Indonesia — and representatives of farmer groups from across Central Java.

A key highlight was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Food Station Cipinang Jaya and farmer representatives, facilitated by PT Pragola Pati Nuswantoro. The deal is designed to secure guaranteed market access and full uptake of harvests, while stabilising grain prices at farm level.

Speaking on the sidelines, Melvin — Commercial Director of PT Formula Top Indonesia — reaffirmed the company’s commitment to boosting national agricultural output.

“By applying Formula 100 here in Demak, we aim to help more farmers increase their harvest returns,” Melvin said. “Our target is to lift rice productivity by at least one tonne per hectare, while restoring declining soil fertility through bio‑fertilisers. We keep partnering with private‑sector players, rice mills, and strategic allies to build an ecosystem working toward a shared goal: national security in food, water, and energy.”

Tupado Panggabean, Public Relations Officer at Formula Top Indonesia, added that combining Formula 100 with nutrient boosters has delivered encouraging results across multiple locations.

“Demonstration plots and farmer testimonials confirm this mix shortens the cycle from planting to harvest, and significantly improves both crop quality and volume,” Tupado explained. “This innovation offers a practical, sustainable way to step up agricultural productivity.”

He detailed the products:

– Formula 100 + Bio‑fertiliser (Soil Conditioner): A microbe‑based fertiliser that rebuilds degraded soil structure and balances nutrient availability.
– Formula 100 + Booster Serum: A liquid organic fertiliser that strengthens plants, stimulates root development, and supports vigorous growth.

Organisers hope the Demak harvest — through united action by government, industry, and farmers — will mark an important step toward a productive, sustainable national agricultural ecosystem capable of meeting Indonesia’s food self‑sufficiency targets.
