The INDONESIAN , (Banten)— The Nusantara Students Communication Forum held a demonstration in front of the Banten Governor’s Office at the Banten Provincial Government Center (KP3B) on Monday (14/9/2026). During the action, students called for a full investigation into alleged integrity violations linked to the Deputy Governor of Banten.

The demonstration was led by Lutpi Setiawan, the field coordinator. Protesters urged the regional government and competent authorities to immediately clarify and investigate the allegations circulating among the public.

Students also highlighted the alleged misuse of official facilities for personal gain. The Forum emphasized that all claims must be verified through official inquiries based on verifiable facts and evidence.

“We demand every allegation be investigated objectively. If unsubstantiated, the public must be informed. But if violations are confirmed, firm action must be taken in accordance with regulations,” Lutpi stated.

The Nusantara Students Communication Forum outlined four key demands: a thorough probe into alleged integrity breaches, investigation into the misuse of official resources, full transparency of inquiry results, and decisive action against any proven violations.

The Forum specifically called for the Deputy Governor of Banten to be removed from office should official investigations confirm violations meeting the legal criteria for dismissal.

According to Lutpi, the demands reflect student oversight of public governance and are not an attempt to judge an individual’s private life.

“If the inquiry confirms violations that warrant dismissal, we insist the Deputy Governor be removed through legal mechanisms. No special treatment can be afforded to public officials,” Lutpi stressed.

The Forum asserted that public officeholders are bound to uphold integrity, accountability, and public trust. Accordingly, every alleged violation related to governance must be handled professionally and transparently.

The Nusantara Students Communication Forum pledged to continue monitoring the process and urged authorities not to disregard public aspirations.

“Public office is a trust. Allegations must be investigated, facts disclosed, and if proven to constitute grounds for removal, the dismissal process must proceed strictly by the law,” Lutpi said.
